Céline Bodson and Sara Picavet, two musicians, both devotees of chamber music, joined forces in 2018 to create Sarrasine.

At times a classical chamber duet, focusing on works for violin and piano from the wide repertoire, at other times a musical collective in collaboration with other artists (Thomas Turine), they work their way between different musical periods and techniques, taking the listener on a journey to give them a deeper understanding of music.

They do not hesitate to encourage contemporary creation by working with modern composers (Benoît Mernier, César Mateus, Stéphane Orlando, Thomas Turine...).

They have each performed in numerous venues in Belgium and abroad (Brussels, Antwerp, Liège, Namur, Paris, Lyon, Montreal...), and their new duo is supported by the “Art et vie” tours, the FWB and the ASBL AtArt.
